Vortex scope wont hold zero

That thing won't hold zero for nothing. And I can't get it to focus worth beans. It started leaking too, so I sent it in a few months ago, they replaced it with a new one, and so far that one is performing better, but it's still just slightly above the quality of a $50 dollar scope.

Jan 11, 2018 · Take the scope(s) off and the iron sights are still zero'ed so it's definitely the scopes. i mounted one on my shop vise and put a piece of tape on the wall. I can peck and tap on it all day long and the crosshairs stay put, but put the darn thing on a gun and it won't hold zero but for 50 shots MAYBE. I've had a couple of Simmons scopes, I like the visibility through them just fine, but I myself can't get em to hold a zero, even with very careful attention to scope mounting (lapping or bedding the rings). Could probably happen to any scope brand out there but I won't bother with them any more myself.
